*Disclaimer the real dinner and lunch menu is much more detailed and huge at the restaurant*

This place is a quaint, family-owned restaurant. I really enjoyed my birthday dinner there yesterday. Their lassis are great. This restaurant has a gift in making food katta meeta (sweet and sour) for Pakistani and Indian dishes that a lot of places try to attempt sometimes, but this place does a uniquely wonderful job on. They have special rotis, and I'd recommend you order a biryani with your other dishes, so the plain white rice doesn't become overloaded in proportion. Would come again and definitely support while in Clayton! Staff is very kind, patient, and more than willing to help if you ask questions about your wants and needs.

Having just moved to Clayton, we were thrilled to find a Halal restaurant. We were the only customers at the time and decided to go with their lunch buffet. There was a good selection of food on the bar but nothing was hot and the meats were too dry. I felt like I was eating leftover food and didn't feel safe eating room temperature meats. Also, to reiterate, we were the only customers there but we had to constantly ask for things like napkins and refills.

I 100% support family-owned small businesses, but I felt like there was no care put into their service nor product.

$40 got me maybe 2 cups of rice and 2 small entree's today and that they call a 3rd surprise entree 4 tiny turnovers which i would barley call an appetizer. Also a yogurt shake. My biggest problem was that i ordered on Grubhub and received a $5 discount they called to ask about specifics on my orders and tell me if i order from them directly they have a promotion for a free entree if i dont get the discount. They were very nice on the phone so i said why not everything looks good on the menu surprise me. So w/ some inconvenience i canceled my order from grubhub and re ordered from them and did it all over. The free entree is a sick joke. I hate giving bad reviews but this was a terrible experience. To speak on the foods taste it was ok very bland overall maybe i should of went spicy instead of medium idk. The one thing in did enjoy was the strawberry lassi. It was very good. Also when i called back and asked what the entree surprise was bc i didn't know they were super rude they never gave me a receipt so i had no idea what i was eating and wanted to know they immediately said i got what i ordered and were very defensive which leads me to believe this happens often. Don't get take out from here!!!!

    Taste 4.6/10
    Service 0/10
    Connivence 2/10
    Attitude 7/10

Okay it is 100% your fault i told you i was getting $5 off and not paying the delivery fee for $3 on the phone but a $10 entree promotion would be nice try something different but u gave me a small app. I don't feel a certain way this is factual.

I was so excited when I saw this place - so even though the plan was to go to the buffet next door we decided on Kainat. Not sure what the deal was - but the single female server was a LOT friendlier to the other diners there than us. I tried to make small talk - like chatting with people - and was met with frostily one work replies. Empty bins of food - when I pointed it out, was told it would be put shortly. Never made an appearance while we were there and it was around 12:45 pm so peak lunch time. Food was very average - nan did not come with buffet and you will have to pay for it.
She dropped off the bill while we were still eating and we hadn't asked for it as yet. Meanwhile checking yelp I saw that had a coupon (see attached pics). Was told they don't honour it and it shouldn't have been there. I had the picture up already so held it up for her - her response? "You can show it as much as you want, we won't take it" - the time and delivery was completely unnecessary since I wasn't challenging her - more like " you say it is not applicable for buffets but heads up this is what it says".
It is not about accepting a coupon that would take off ~2 dollars from the bill - it was the behavior of the server while will ensure we don't got back.

I eat a lot of middle eastern and mediterranean foods, and this is authentic.  Curries are good, tiki masala
Have not been to the lunch buffet.
Easy to get in and out.
    Friendly staff
